Miniature Pomegranate Bonsai Starter Tree

This is a miniature flowering pomegranate bonsai starter tree. These are rather cold hardy down to just into freezing temps. They come in a large quart size growing container and average 12" tall or taller from the soil line. These are heavy feeders and like the soil on the wet side. They flower profusely. I have had them make the actual miniature edible fruit. If you do though, remove all but one as this takes a lot of energy from the rest of the tree. The fruit on these will be about 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter and would need to be supported so the branch doesn't break. A nice little miniature tree that could fruit as early as this year. Best suited to a pot in the 8 inch size.
