| Sorry, but we no longer sell the Japanese Lime Sulphur. We are now offering a smaller more convenient size in a 4 ounce bottle to put in your tool bag. The specs are the same as the old type we used. In fact it is a little stronger. It is used full strength right out of the bottle for coating the Jins and Shari on your bonsai. It acts like the cut paste in stopping intrusion of infection to the tree, particularly at the margins of the bark. Its main funtion is the bleached white appearance like sun bleached wood that the natural Shari and Jins on trees in the wild have with age. It also is used extensively diluted (1 tablespoon per quart) for a fungicide that can be foliar and watered into the soil, but you must know which kind of trees this can be performed on. Internet bonsai chat is good place for researching. 4 oz. bottle @ 29% strength now. The old Japanese type was only 27.5%.
